SALDO TEST TOP RATING OF "VERY GOOD" FOR JANA NIGHT CREAM for normal & combination skin and ZOÉ REVITAL Regenerating NIGHT CREAM
Saldo, the Swiss consumers magazine, tested night creams in its issue no. 3 of 21 February 2007. Fifteen of the most frequently sold creams were investigated for harmful ingredients in a recognised laboratory.
Formaldehyde was criticised as was phthalate, used some times as a softener, which, according to saldo, could interfere in the hormonal balance. In addition, night creams were also checked for fragrances that can frequently trigger allergies, even in small amounts. 26 fragrances classified as ‘critical’ must be declared on the products by the manufacturers as of January 2007.
The night creams by JANA (for normal & combination skin) including ZOÉ Revital (regenerating night cream) were both tested by saldo and found to be "very good".
Both night creams contain none of the criticised ingredients and fragrances and thus are among the four test winners.
